Paley, Grace

(b. 1922)
   American writer. Born in New York City of Russian immigrants, she married Jess Paley and later began to write short stories. She taught at Columbia University and Syracuse University. Her work includes The Little Disturbances of Man: Stories of Women and Men at Love and Later the Same Day.
